Reply jaynie mae baker July 21, 2015 at 11:05 am First of all I would like to say awesome blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing. I’ve had trouble clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out. I do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or hints? Kudos! Reply J "Joy" Dawn King (Post author) July 25, 2015 at 12:10 pm I wish there was an easy answer, Jaynie. For me, my environment has to be quiet so I write when my husband is at work or asleep. Before I sit down, I lay down, close my eyes, and picture my characters in my head (which is why it’s been so important for me to have David Gandy as my Mr. Darcy because I have a whole Pinterest board with his pictures). I set my last scene that I typed and move them in my imagination from there. Then, I type. I hope this helps. Please feel free to write again. I’d be very grateful if you could elaborate a little bit further. Thanks! Reply gsffuta.org July 21, 2015 at 5:03 pm Pretty! This was an extremely wonderful post. Thanks for supplying this info.
