I will confess to you now that I have thoroughly enjoyed selecting the prizes for the giveaway this Friday. The drawing will be held at 8:00 a.m. Pacific time. I will contact the winners via email and they will have until Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. Pacific time to respond. If I have not heard from the winners I will draw another name. The prize for any that do not respond in a timely manner will be forfeited. (There! All the official rules have been stated.)
Let me tell you what’s new in the gift basket. There is a lovely Pride and Prejudice cosmetic bag in a pale green. It has a white peacock on the front. It’s gorgeous!!! Also added are three pieces of original artwork. Two are the men and women of Jane Austen’s writings and the third is Lizzy Bennet at the pianoforte. They, too, are lovely.
There’s still time for me to add your name to the bowl. Yes, my highly technical method of choosing winners is to put all the names (one for each time you comment or like on my web site, my Facebook page (J Dawn King), and on Twitter (@Jdawnking) into a huge stainless steel bowl. I still have plenty of room for your name.
As a reminder, this drawing is open internationally. All of the winners will be notified at the same time. If you reply first and have a preference for a prize, you are able to select your choice. If you do not have a preference, I will select the prize for you. There are no duplicate items. Here is what’s up for grabs:
Let’s see, have I forgotten anything? I hope not.

Sophie Andrews had the artist on her blog, Laughing With Lizzie, last year. There are a lot more photos to win besides the ones I’ve shown. Maybe I’d best post pictures.

I went to Sophie’s site and found the artist. Her name is Masha Laurence. She has a shop on Etsy and can be reached at mashalaurence [at] gmail.com

What beautiful items you are gifting. I would certainly like to win one, particularly the turquoise bag since my walls are covered with books, windows and quilts. However, the truly wonderful gift you have shared is your wonderful writing skill manifested in creating wonderful P&P stories. Thank you.
