Fabulous Joy! What a perfect character Henry is, he knew from the start who he wanted to be his mistress. He also showed Elizabeth who the villain was. I’m so glad he wasn’t hurt when Wickham kidnapped him and that he got his revenge. Just lovely, thank you for sharing.

Oh I just loved Henry and it reminds me of my uncle’s Border Collie, in N. Ireland, called Jack. When I visited the family in my early 20’s Jack and I bonded, and he followed me everywhere. I was sad to leave my Granny and all my aunt and uncles and cousins when I had to return home, but I also was sad to leave Jack. My uncle told me he looked for me everywhere…that made me cry.
Thank you for this lovely Christmas gift! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

What a sweet story, Carole. I learned so much about the breed while researching Henry. They are exceedingly loyal and discerning so it says much about your character to have made a devoted friend so easily. Thank you for the memories.
