We received another blow today concerning my Mom’s health. Therefore, please excuse my absence from social media. I will still pull this story from this site on Sunday or Monday and will try to get it out. I just don’t have the heart for it right now. Thank you for your understanding.
Oh Joy, I’m so so sorry. Obviously our prayers weren’t enough. But I will keep trying. Much love to you and your family x
Your prayers are enough. Thank you so much, for them. Our Mom is a strong woman who is standing strong in her conviction. You would be proud of her. My sister, Joy, is just like Mom. Firm in faith.
So sorry for the heaviness in your spirit. Prayers sent for you and family.
Patricia…I cannot tell you how much your heartfelt wishes speaks to me and my family. Mom is our true North Star. My anchor when my husband died. I will miss her immensely, but age is taking her from me.
I love our Mom, and I am so proud of her. I love you, so much.
Thank you, so much!!! From Joy’s Baby sister!!!
My thoughts and prayers are with you…
Thank you, Carole. Your prayers are a gift!! With Love, Joy’s little sister….Rita
As others also said…you and your mother are in my thoughts and prayers, Joy.
Thank you, Sheila. Words cannot express how your voice means to my family. If Joy could respond, she would. With the deepest gratitude and love, Rita

Thank you, Lois, for your kindness. It’s lovely knowing that my sister’s talent has reached clear to the UK (but yes, I have always believed she is that good, too). Thank you for honoring our Mum. It means more than words can express. Bless .you, dear.
My heartfelt condolences Joy. May God give you strength to you and your family in this difficult time.
Thank you, M. It is so kind of you to offer such loving thoughts to my family. Sincerely, Rita
Prayers for your mom and family. Your writings are such a wonderful retreat for me and others. I pray you find comfort in knowing that although we don’t know each other, we are concerned for your hardship.
I thank you, Amy. So much!!!
A great big THANK YOU to all of you, especially to my little sister, Rita for her replies. Our Mom is amazing. She is still filled with joy and a fierce determination to look positively at every situation. I want to be just like her. I’m not quite ready to write a happily-ever-after yet, but Mom keeps after me to quit worrying over her and get busy. Soon.
My thoughts and prayers are with you as well. You take care of your self and your family. Then, when you are ready to write again, we will be here ready to read your wonderful stories.
My sincerest thanks, Kare.
