Thank you for that! I am sure he is going to have a rude awakening! He is going to have to eat humble pie sooner than later if he only has 3 months!!! Looking forward to the next chapter when the Muse strikes and you can sit for a while!
I do like that this Darcy is taking some moments to think about his goals, his actions AND how Caroline says and does exactly what he has done but how it is the opposite of what he should be doing and saying and searching for in a wife. How will he change things in those short weeks before G’s 16th birthday? Thanks for sharing.
So glad you are back in the “saddle” again! I have enjoyed these two chapters.
I do like this Darcy. It was funny when the Colonel told Darcy he had to do it because the Colonel was shipping out. Talk about a surprise. Now Darcy has a deadline to meet. Is he up to it?
Well, this Darcy is still opening his mouth and putting his elegant Hessians (or other footwear) in it, but at least he seems to have realised it straight away for a change. It’s going to be interesting to see how he manages to bring himself around to the way he knows he should be thinking and behaving.

You are most welcome. I’m typing away.

This is a much more reflective Darcy for me. I’m so grateful you noticed.

I sure hope Darcy is up to it. He’s feeling the pressure. And he’s finding out he’s a bit of a snob. Poor man.
Just catching up on your new WIP, Joy.

Off to chapter three right now!
Thank you for reading and commenting, Anji. I’m so glad you stopped by.
