Well, I would never have gotten the last two riddles. Well done, author. Darcy may have learned some respect for not only Elizabeth. Thanks for sharing.

You are so welcome, Sheila. I sorely needed Mr. Bennet’s help.

  2. Gail M Frisby

    Love it

My dear lady, you need no help! That was brilliant! Darcy’s pride is taking a beating!

  4. Glynis

Poor Darcy! He needs to apologize to Elizabeth now then maybe they could become good friends (well it would be a start!)

    • J "Joy" Dawn King

Wouldn’t that be lovely if he did. He won’t, you know, not for a bit longer.

Loving this story so far. So enjoyable.

    • J "Joy" Dawn King

Oh, good. I aim to entertain almost as much as Mr. Darcy does.

  6. Patty Edmisson

Loved it and laughed out loud at the end. Poor Darcy is made to feel not as intelligent as he know he is! He has sure underestimated the competition and the females! Now, he notices how attractive Elizabeth is. How long will it take for him to realize that she does not think the same as he, or does she?

We will be hearing from Elizabeth in chapter four. Needless to say, she has strong opinions but they are coming from a good heart. Possibly a stubborn heart but a good one still.

  7. Anji

Like Sheila, I wouldn’t have got those last two clues either! A fascinating twist on the original meeting at Lucas Lodge. He’s learning to appreciate Elizabeth’s intelligence but his estimation of his own is taking rather a battering!

    Onwards to chapter 4!
