Dear Readers,
I have so much to be thankful for. Each new release seems to find more readers than the last time. Reviews have been good and the comments on fanfiction.net and beyondausten.com have been amazing to read.
I have a new story coming out this month called ‘Mr. Darcy’s Mail-Order Bride’. The setting is 1869 Oregon. Boy, was it a hoot to write.
As a thank you to you for your support, I’m having a drawing for six (6) amazing gifts. There are four 18″x18″ Mr. Darcy pillows, a teapot, and a sweatshirt (size XL). I’ll attempt to attach the photos below. Oh, I forgot to mention the purse. There’s a Pride and Prejudice purse I will be drawing for as well. I’ll trying to post a picture.
How to enter: Sign up for my newsletter on the link in the right hand column of this page.
I will draw for all of the prizes on December 31, 2016. This giveaway is open INTERNATIONALLY!!! Again, you only need to sign up for my newsletter to enter. The first issue of “J Dawn King: Reasons for Joy”will release the first week of January 2017. The content will take about five minutes to read from top to bottom.
All my best to you,
Joy
I am already signed up for your newsletter, as I am sure you know. Looking forward to reading the finished product in your “Mail-order Bride” book. I enjoyed it as a WIP. Best of luck with all your writing.
You are entered by virtue of already being a newsletter recipient. Thank you so much for your good wishes, my friend. These are awesome prizes I selfishly wanted to keep. Shame on me!!! However, they need shared.
I absolutely loved the pillow! Thank you so much for such a nice giveaway and for giving us so many wonderful Darcy’s throughout the years 🙂
The pillow is soft. Perfect for dreaming of Mr. Darcy.
I think most of us don’t even need such a pillow to dream of Mr. Darcy but it will definitely make the dreams sweeter 🙂
I think your stories are prize enough!
You are so sweet, Tere. Trust me, my husband is thrilled I’m getting rid of this.
Thanks for all these wonderful gifts you are offering in your draw… how nice of you and I am a huge fan of your books!
Thank you very much, Ruth. Best wishes for the giveaway.
Hi there Joy!
What a lovely lady you are to have such a generous giveaway as this is and to make it available to us international folk, too. Not entirely sure what my husband will say if I’m lucky enough to win one of the prizes. He already calls my study “The Jane Austen Room” but I love all my bits and bobs of Austen-related stuff that keep my books company.
I’m not sure if I’m signed up for the newsletter though. I received an email about this post, so is that the same? I clicked on the link just to make sure and went through the registration process and was told I’d be sent an email to confirm it. Nothing has arrived as yet.
Anji,
Thank you so much for trying. I think we are having some technical difficulties. Sigh. I’ll check with my media consultant.
I’ve just tried again, this time from my PC rather than my iPad, Joy, and it now says I’m already subscribed, so that’s good news!
Ooh, I saw the sweatshirt in Signals! Totally got my attention!
It’s where I purchased the sweatshirt and the teapot, Ginna. They got my attention as well.
What a wonderful giveaway! Thank you very much!
You are most welcome.
What a generous giveaway! I always enjoy your stories. I have been listening to “One Love, Two Hearts, Three Stories” on audio book while driving to and from work this week. It makes my commute so much nicer!
How kind, Maureen. The audio book of “Love Letters from Mr. Darcy” came out yesterday. I think it’s my most romantic of all my stories. I hope you can listen to it soon.
I am all signed up (and already was). Such a generous giveaway. I am looking forward to your next release!
Awesome! You should be seeing it on Amazon soon.
Thank you so much for your generosity! I agree with Rita about that pillow!
The pillow cover is really soft, Carole. But I do agree the attraction is Mr. Darcy. Swoon!!!
THIS MERCH IS SO COOL
