Another New Cover!
Just to freshen things up a bit, my cover designer, Jane Dixon-Smith of JD Smith Designs, has updated the cover to the anthology I published last year called “One Love – Two Hearts – Three Stories”. It should be online by the end of the week – I hope.
The two of us arranged two photo shoots in the spring of 2016. The first one was for the cover of “The Abominable Mr. Darcy (TAMD)”. If you look closely, you will notice the clothing on my work-in-progress cover is the same as worn by the male model for TAMD. A bit of fancy Photoshopping, I think. The second shoot had several Regency period-correct costumes and several female models. The ladies from my new anthology cover and the cover to “Friends and Enemies” are both from that shoot.
Here is the new cover in comparison with the old. Definitely more fitting to the overall themes of the three stories, don’t you think? (Old – left, New – right)

I’ll always have a soft spot for the original cover, Joy, as it’s the one sitting on my bookshelf and I’m always a sucker for a lovely sunset! As you say, the new cover is much more in keeping and the parasol is simply gorgeous. That footpath looks just the sort of path that Elizabeth would take on her long rambles. I’ve even walked along paths like that in the summer here in Yorkshire, when we’ve been on long rambles with our dogs.

I loved the setting of the old cover and the tones the designer used with the title and my name are lovely. However, the girl’s dress was cut off in the back in the original shot and it couldn’t be fixed. I had a hard time overlooking the dress. Now, I don’t have to. There was nothing photoshopped in the new picture. Yay!
